They Must Pay
The neighbors thought it was time for you to go So they gave you some poison meat, Then sat back for the show. My baby, My Satie, My Companion, My Friend, I am sorry I did not forsee their ignorance. You were too young for your life to end. I miss you and I know you miss me, But I'll be there when my time comes to be by your side. You were not just a dog as they say, You were my daughter, you see. Hopefully soon someday, Those who choose to abuse will pay.
